Air India Partners with Unilode To Revolutionize Fleet Efficiency


Unilode Aviation Solutions has entered a full-service partnership with Air India, under which it will provide the airline with ULD management.

On top of that, committed to contributing to Air India’s sustainability goals, Unilode will also provide digitalized containers and pallets from its 165,000-strong pool of ULDs for the carrier’s fleet of over 120 aircraft serving 100 domestic and international destinations, both bellyhold and cargo.

As per Unilode’s chief commercial officer, Mohammed Akhlaq, the company has plans to acquire new state-of-the-art ULDs in order to meet the growing demand and new destinations at Air India, along with providing network-wide global repair services.

“As the owner of the world’s largest ULD fleet, our global reach and scale will ensure we can deliver throughout Air India’s network while we commit to acquiring new state-of-the-art ULDs to meet the demands,” he said.
